Litigation Graphics

At Animators at Law, our primary service is helping
lawyers explain difficult concepts to judges and jurors through the
use of litigation graphics and technology. Whether you need assistance
designing your message or using the technology required to deliver your
message, we can help. We do it everyday, nationwide.
Litigation
graphics are powerful tools for explaining and communicating complex
concepts or abstract ideas. Well-designed litigation graphics increase
judge and juror comprehension by up to 650% by providing visual points
of reference that can be referred to throughout the proceedings. Furthermore,
litigation graphics serve as representations of pertinent information
that facilitate a more lasting and believable impression. Animators
is uniquely qualified and highly experienced in the design of all types
of boards including full-color charts, diagrams and timelines for use
in the courtroom. We have created thousands, and no two are exactly
alike.
Litigation graphics can be either printed or presented electronically
using customized software or off the shelf software such as Sanction,
Trial Director, PowerPoint or Producer. We routinely create a mix of
print and electronic exhibits for large trials to keep cost down and
to stimulate judge and juror interest.
Presentation Strategy – Litigation Consulting
Animators can assist you in forming a strategy for the presentation
of litigation graphics. We can help you decide how simple or complex
your presentation should be, as well as the best ways to utilize effective
imagery, language and color. Determining the type of media that will
be used bears heavily on the graphic development process. For example,
the design of static exhibits differs from the design of an interactive
piece. Although we routinely design for multiple applications, we can
save you time and money by addressing these issues prior to development.
As always, our goal is the most efficient and productive use of resources.
Animators develops effective demonstratives and trial presentation strategies
by reversing the process normally used for graphic and thematic development.
Simply, we start with the language of the code or verdict form that
the jury will use at the end of the trial and incorporate this language
on key exhibits throughout the trial. This methodology is the of our
attorney owned and operated firm and represents the means by which we
will systematically evaluate the effectiveness of litigation graphics
as we develop them.
This ability to think like a member of the trial team and to think like
a lawyer (because that is what we are) is what differentiates us from
every other firm in the litigation communication industry. Thus, we
have the talent to not only turn an in-house draft exhibit into an efficient
jury ready exhibit but, most importantly, to understand the legal issues
and suggest and design an overall presentation as well as individual
exhibits.
Every time we have heard:
“How can Animators learn a 10 year-old case in two weeks and teach
it to a jury?”
we always soon hear…
“Wow, you actually bridged the gap between our extensive knowledge
of the case and the jury’s need to understand enough to help us
win.”
That is effective Litigation Consulting.
